Comments
Comments: I broke trail up lafayette today. Snow depth ranged from a few inches to knee high drifts. There were a few people out today so the trail is broken out well up to the first viewpoint on old bridle path. After that youll need snowshoes. The trail gets narrow also due to the drooping tree branches. Above the hut, the greenleaf trail was hard to navigate due to the bad visibility. So there are a few different tracks up, some incorrect. Conditions at the summit were not very good in the afternoon, so I didnt go across the ridge. Not many people bothered to bring snowshoes so the trails are not in very good shape.
