Spikes went on/off at the second crossing at 1800' on stoney brook. Snowshoes haven't even gotten dug outta my room from wherever I put them in April. Pretty easy up to the ridge, rough on the ridge with all the stupid blowdowns because why would trails ever get brushed out to winter heights for tall people like myself?! No signs of foot traffic from either rattle river or the Gorham side of Carter-Moriah trail. Curious as to how things will change with the snow tomorrow |
