Comments: What a gorgeous day for a trip along the Greenway! We are very fortunate to have this trail here in southern New Hampshire. It is truly a gem!

I followed the Greenway over Jackson Hill and Hubbard Hill to a junction a short distance south of Hubbard where Hubbard Hill Rd. has been improved, and then looped back to the southern end of King St. (called Kings Highway on the Stoddard side) via pleasant woods roads. These roads were a little long but very easy and it was neat to see some new territory.

From the Class VI portion of King St. I did two short bushwhacks to Copeland Hill (not on any list that I know of) and Healey Hill (NH500); each was about 0.3 mi. from the road.

Copeland was very easy through open woods and the summit is not recognized.

For Healey, I knew from previous reports that there was a lot of no trespassing signs to the E along King Street. I went into the woods pretty much at the Washington/Stoddard town line to the SW of the peak, briefly following a very short woods road. Woods were decent and I was able to use an old skid road near the top. I returned the same way and saw no posted prohibitions on this route. The top of Healey has two bumps. The SW bump has a red-painted steel girder tied to a tree -- no idea why. The NE bump is the high point and has a small cairn and register atop a red-painted boulder. I also saw another red-painted boulder nearby.

Ground conditions today were mainly wet/damp but were drying out later in the day. No snow and the only ice I encountered was melting. This will of course all change with the incoming storm.
