There is one big blow down about a 1/4 mile down from star king. Some smaller things are coming down, some since last night so it pays to keep you head up. |

Nice day on the trail. No snow at the start 3/4 inches on top trail packed out. Maybe a half inch over night. Did not feel like I needed snowshoes for the whole thing and did not use spikes, easy to step around the ice. Some people had spikes on so whatever works. Plenty of people on the trail good to see Per Frost out and about. |
