Comments: Superbowl Sunday was an absolute perfect day - not a cloud in the, perfectly clear summit on Washington. Unfortunately we were just headed up - got a late start at 12:30pm on Sunday because we were going to stay over at Hermit Lake shelters. Took our time, talked to folks coming down and had amazing views in the bowl and at Hermit Lake when we arrived around 4.

Then by dark the hurricane force winds came in and blew hard and loud all night. Wind chill was 30-40 below. It was a cold night. Woke up at 6am to find the ravine and summit socked in with fog, about 30 ft of visibility, and hurricane force winds sand blasting us with snow. Tried going up Hillman's anyway but turned around just after Dodge's - didn't want to get caught in no visibility once we got above Hillman's. Fun trip, just no summit.
