Comments
Comments: The snow surface was hard packed snow. Felt like walking on a side walk. Snowshoes with traction worked well for the whole distance. Probably could get away with microspikes although I saw some minor postholing.

The Engine Hill "bushwhack" departs at a 90 degree angle from the Rocky Branch Trail at the height of land. It is the route most travelled. There were some tracks remaining on the Rocky Branch Trail westward beyond the bushwhack route.

The Isolation Trail had a split in the snowshoe paths part way between the river crossing and the Davis Path. I opted for the leftmost pathway as it was a more direct route to Mt Isolation.

The Davis Path was well packed out to Mt Isolation. The Davis Path south of Mt Isolation had not been broken out. The ledges on Mt Isolation were snow covered. The views were magnificent from Mt Isolation.
