Parking along road, very tight. Room for maybe 5 or 6 cars because of snow banks. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Many water crossings, no snow bridges. Easy rock hopping. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns, one about 1 mile in that you have crawl under. Another one is only a problem for tall people. |

Saw one dog, seemed to have no problem with snow and ice. |

| Comments: |
Pine Bend Trail had ice just under the freshly fallen snow. In the steep sections, Linda's Hillsounds worked better than my micro spikes. Snowshoes not needed. Trail solid and packed down, although don't step off the edge. Beautiful sunny day with views in all directions. Nice to meet up with Hiker Ed and his group. |
