 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One blowdown on FWT, but I don't remember the elvation. I am not sure who not so passive aggressively blazed falling waters trail, but in some sight lines 5-8 blazes are visible in a hundred feet, some on adjacent trees, or the same rock in two places. Absolutely absurd how there is time for this, but not to drill a couple holes and wand/epoxy the rock that is the cause of over 90% of the callouts on this trail. I must have been to the this spot over 50 times. |

A FINE DAY in the forest was had. We only saw three people this morning on Skook and then it became an absolute zoo. A staggering, absolutely ridiculous, amount of people out - I don't know why they don't stop bussing to this and do it ADK style. Then again, we should know better living 10 minutes away this was a bad idea. Flags where visible. Trails in good shape end to end, even on Skook. A true delight, I forgot how much I liked that trail. Once we got past the bubble, the trail got much better and less peopely. Captain, you're retired, lets do the popular ones after work on a Tuesday :P |
