OK - lots of deadfall on trails here....specifically a large dead tree on trail on Old North Groton Rd on the uphill section - other deadfall of larger trees randomly on the big loop we did except the mowed Romeey-Remick Road. Former Remick Place/Farm was too overgrown with ferns/etc to take a look at today. |

not bad except near the streams... I swallowed a bug and was gacking the big wings in my throat the first 1-2 miles - very annoying. After that, not bad. |

Terrific afternoon hike - hadn't been here in a while. Did the loop CCWise which was super-enjoyable. Nice to hit Bald Knob first - lots of viewpoints I've never had a chance to explore for some reason. |
