Comments
Comments: Trail up to East was well packed. One of us used snowshoes to summit. The other switched out to Hill Sound Pros at the steep slab rock section but full crampons would have worked better.

After East we used snowshoes on the way to Osceola to the base of the Chimney. The bypass was completely ice covered. We would have needed full crampons and ice axes to safely ascend. A bypass around the bypass would be better. We turned around. Osceola will be climbed another day!
