Parking/Access Road Notes: the parking lot is a complete sheet of ice, when leaving, I almost ended up sliding out on rt116

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Black, Ice - Blue, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth

Dog-Related Notes: didn't see any dogs, would be easy for them though

Comments
Comments: for the first 2 miles, it was a basic boiler plate of ice, as I gained elevation, the ice turned to hard packed snow. I used light traction the whole way, no need for snowshoes.

I took a side trip down the flume, it's pretty dangerous with a thick crust on top of light snow on the way down.
