Comments
Comments: First portion of Stony Brook (from the bridge to the big water crossing) was snowshoeable, though most others had booted it. Starting on the original route after the water crossing, it was smooth sailing on a nice snowshoe track. Some drifting on the top steep on Stony Brook.

Two blue ice sections on Carter-Moriah - one small one that can be climbed courtesy tree branches. The other one is on the chute above the Kenduskeag junction - a herd path weaves around to the left of it. Otherwise, smooth sailing on snowshoes on Carter-Moriah.

Carter-Moriah Trail to Bangor Road looked tracked out. No tracks on Kenduskeag, Moriah Brook, or Carter-Moriah southbound.

Took the old trail out to the culdesac on the way out, then did the road walk back to the parking lot, for a change of scenery.
