Comments
Comments: We followed some newly made snowshoes tracks. The snow was hard-packed, but icy. Much harder on the descent, where we sat and coasted a few times. The rim trail was completely unbroken until we took it, ignoring the roped off access. We took an easier way back from the Tram area though. The iced-over ladder gave Joyce some moments of trepidation, but all went well.It was a very intense work-out for our out-of shape muscles.
