Comments
Comments: A handful of former students of AMC WHS (thanks, Bob). Halebrook trail wasn't broken out. Easy snowshoeing until the second brook crossing. It took about an hour to cut, slab and pack a trail along the steep pitch (hard, thick crust).

One high point of the day was seeing a large guy posthole up to his neck at the summit after barebooting up the trail behind us. "We severely misjudged the trail conditions." I saw some familiar faces on the summit, sauntering in off of the Firewardens Trail looking refreshed and raving about what a great trail it is. Great day, great people.
