Comments
Comments: My first visit to 13 Falls - 26 miles and 7,389 feet of climbing today. After going up the Owl slide, I took a shortcut down from the summit, set a NNW bearing for the height-o-land and went straight there in 38 minutes, saving 1.2 miles and 600 feet of climbing. Surprisingly open woods and good footing, it looked well traveled too. I merged onto an old road about half way down. The section of Lincoln Brook trail this bypasses is the worst part too, I fell on the slippery rocks on the way in.
