Comments
Comments: FW Trail broken out by MicroSpikes, too narrow a path for snowshoes. Hiked Franconia Ridge Trail with Spikes, only a couple butt-slide sections, either drifted snow, breakable crust or penetrable crust. Descending from Lafayette we would have done better with crampons until we reached the trees.
