All of these trails need to be brushed out. Scattered blowdowns, with the three biggest being on Woods Walk and Chandler Trail (large hemlocks). Signage at the Woods Walk/Chandler junction is obscured by tree growth and could be missed. Blazing is still ok but could probably be touched up soon. |

Plenty of gnat-ey things but they weren't bitey. |

Some poking around at the Chandler Reservation/Mink Hills in Warner, up to the flag tower and true summit of Chandler Mink, then back.
I also wanted to revisit the White Trail from Bean Rd. while I was here, but that plan ended quickly when I startled a bear just inside the trailhead. It scampered up a tree and was huffing and chuffing at me, so I retreated. No worries bear friend, I'll come back another day. |
