Comments
Comments: 40 to 50 mph winds at the trail head. Got on the trail at 7:15 a.m. Trail was not broken out. 6 or 8 inches of new snow and ice. I used snow shoes the whole day. Broke out the trail to just above tree line where Robert caught up with me and took over. He was a machine!!! I made it above tree line to the ridge where I hung around for 1/2 hour.

The views and blue sky were breathtaking and I got a lot of good shots. Met a cool dog and some really cool people today including ARM who was really cool and a wealth of knowledge. I was exhausted and did not make it to the Hut. Great day for sure. It was truly exciting breaking trail for that long.
