 | Date of Hike: |
Sunday, July 7, 2024 |
 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Lots of options around 8 a.m. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Low enough to be rock-hoppable |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Saw nothing that needed attention except for perhaps touching up the AT blazes. The trail is so obvious it may not be necessary but they are very faded. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a couple of smaller dogs, one at the summit, one on the way up the trail, both on leash |
 | Bugs: |
Just about none even though the woods were damp after the recent rains (expected mosquitos) |

 | Comments: |
Beautiful trail with all the cascades beside the trail for nearly a mile and a half. It's steep in that section but lots of wood blocks, stone steps, rebar and etched rock make it easier. |
