We parked at the Flume Gorge off Rt 3, got there just after 8:30 but plenty of parking. When we returned there were cars everywhere |

We went up Pemigewasset trail and returned via Indian Head trail which meant walking up Rt 3 back to the parking lot (going under Rt 3 and each lane of 93 via tunnels both ways). Not a bad road walk, mostly with a wide shoulder and got to see a great view of Indian Head by the Indian Head resort. |
