Comments
Comments: Amazing day in the Presidentials. Mostly sunny, in the 20's with very little to no wind (except on Monroe which was bitter). Only saw one group of hikers all day as we were coming down Valley Way at the end. Trails are hardpacked snow and lots of ice but most covered with Rime ice allowing for good traction.

The worst part of the trail was lower Valley Way covered with ice although easily negotiated with microspikes which were used car to car. This will likely all change with the current forcast. Finished Winter 48 on Adams. Great seeing Ed Hawkins, Wolfgang, and Tim as well as meeting Ron and Chris (sorry if I got that wrong-all the blood was in my legs, little in my head!!). Great day out with Cory.
