Comments
Comments: Greeley Ponds Tr. is frozen crunchy stuff with a light dusting of snow. we all used light traction on this section.

Mt. Osceola Trail is a combination of the same frozen stuff with frozen ice bombs that have fallen off the trees and lots of ice along the rough steep pitches. We used our MSR snow shoes on this section to the summits of both peaks.

NOTE: The chimney was a frozen waterfall, the chimney bypass was all ice and icy rocks so we bushwhacked around the bypass through the woods to the right which brought us to the top of the bypass.

I put on my crampons (which worked great) for the descent of E. Osceola and kept them on to the Greeley ponds jct. Others used shoes or microspikes.
