My fist time climbing this mountain. Dew point 72 and temps in the 90s. Well-laid trail through beautiful soft woods. A few winter wrens were singing their pretty songs. At the summit were a few laughing ravens riding thermals, thunderstorms were brewing to the north, and a marriage proposal was accepted. A welcomed downpour provided a nice shower just as I finished the hike. |
