Some of worst black flies I've seen in the Whites on both summits. Bring long layers and a head-net if you want to enjoy the views and retain a semblance of sanity. |

Pretty stunning day. Super muggy. Take it super slow on Twinway: super technical as is, and wet rocks don't help that at all. A bit muggy, suspect there's wildfire smoke somewhere. |
