Bugs
Bugs: Gnats and mosquitoes buzzing at the bottom, flies buzzing at the top just pesky enough that I kept pacing around to eat my snack. Nothing biting though!

Comments
Comments: Trail was mostly dry for the first half with great footing, then a few muddy spots. The upper switchbacks were very wet and the slabs extremely slippery - I fell twice even with extreme caution. Well-worth it to visit the falls on the way up - I wouldn't want to come down that way. Champney Falls Cutoff over to Middle Sister is a lovely stretch of trail, with a surprise ledge view giving a preview of those to come at the summit. A great option for views similar to those from Chocorua with less crowds.
