Day 1. All trails bone dry except for some minor wet down low before Garfield Pond. Actually, found a spring thru here & grabbed a much-needed liter of water.
Pleasantly surprised with how few were along the ridge today, quite a difference from 2 weeks ago. Beautiful wildflowers along the ladders on Osseo. Climb up to Garfield is a tough way to end the day. Solo here
with a great breeze to dry out. Loaded up on water then 1st time to campsite, great spot. |
