Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water Crossings were pretty minimal, easily rock hoppable.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns en route to Liberty Spring campsite. One already has a herd path developed around it, and the others are easy to go under/over
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No dogs on trail today. :(
Bugs
Bugs: Swarms of gnats on the ridge, thankfully they're the swarmy kind, and not the bitey kind. Pleasantly surprised no bugs on the summits.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Almost lost my sunglasses. Beyond thankful for the hiker who placed them on the junction sign.

Comments
Comments: Trail was pretty straightforward. Bit of mud and water down towards the bike path, but it was easily avoidable. A few dried mud patches in between Liberty and Flume, but none of them hampered travel in any way. Trail looks good!
