No water crossings here, aside from the spring |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Spring cleanup performed, approx 10-20 blowdowns cut, scores of limbs removed in varying sizes. One monster 10" birch gone too. This trail really needs waterbar work performed on it, they haven't seen love in a long time |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
There where a few snakes sunning themselves or possibly mating on the summit. I am sorry if we interrupted your snakey hanky panky |

A fine day in the woods was had! This completes my New Hampshire Hundred Highest List! Onto the next hundred :) Trail is in great shape, especially with some maintenance performed, it added maybe 60-90 min to the hike but helped a bunch. One boggy spot down low but other than that, menacingly steep, short and sweet. Footing is an old jeep road to the caretakers camp. Then a really nice trail through really nice woods. Visited the spring as well for redline purpose. Amazing views from the summit proper and nearby outlook. Its nice to see a sea of green for once!
