Comments
Comments: Wet spring snow and slush on and off a good part of the day except for the first and last few miles of trail. The bottom section of Oliverian Brook Trail which was flat and relatively dry with a few muddy sections, felt so good compared to maneuvering the many sections of slippery rocks on the steeps, wet ice, soft snow, slush and muddy sections we encountered intermittently throughout the day. Carried spikes but didn't feel the need to put them on. It was a long, challenging and rewarding 17 mile day with tons of warblers singing and many wildflower in bloom.
