Down low overall snow depth was around 6 inches steadily rising to a foot with deeper drifts up high. A delight to finally wear snowshoes end to end, a few rocks here and there to trip you up though. Rollins Trail looked packed, and there were many people doing the loop over to Whiteface today.

Slow pace of today's hike a relative term (5 hours and change), new snow not bad to deal with, but what held us up most was hiking partners need to fix snowshoe bindings more times than Elizabeth Taylor got divorced and remarried (7?).
