Comments
Comments: First two miles of Mt Kinsman Trail, up to Bald Knob/Peak, are well-traveled. We used snowshoes but many others have climbed in microspikes, etc, from the looks of it. From the Bald Knob/Peak intersection to the Kinsman Ridge Trail is very loose and unconsolidated. Snowshoes are highly recommended. Thanks to Kevin who broke out most of this trail on Thursday. It was a great help today. Kinsman Ridge Trail is solid and well-packed. We were the only ones on snowshoes on that trail - everyone else was in crampons or microspikes.
