Bare booted till around 3,000ft then changed to (rock) spikes. Wore them the rest of the way till I got back to where I put them on. Starr King trail was mostly dry but there was areas of mud. I had boot on, my companions had waterproof trail runners and were fine. Stable thin monorail in-between Starr King and Waumbek. |
