Comments
Comments: Trail is about as easy as it gets right now. As reported earlier in the week, the trail was packed down to a sidewalk. Tuesday's weather put maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch of snow on it and then a breakable crust on top of that.

I wore Microspikes roundtrip, but I could have barebooted it if I really wanted to. One could snowshoe the Webster-Jackson Trail too, as it's covered top to bottom, but they're definitely not necessary for this out and back hike at the moment.

A few blue ice bulges near the Webster-Jackson split that can be avoided. The ledges near the summit are covered in granular with a crust on top, so no issues at the moment.

I suspect the Webster branch would also be Microspikable based upon what it looked like at the split. Webster Cliff Trail, though, would probably warrant snowshoes.
