| Water Crossing Notes: |
One crossing about 1.5 miles from parking. stable ice bridges. may be very tough in high water. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail not maintained recently. The lower part features much flowing water in the treadway. Most of the blazes after the first 2 miles are completely faded. A very long and lightly used trail that would be difficult to maintain under the best of circumstances. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Good way to go for a dog as it avoids the scramble. |

| Comments: |
We had a great time though as the trail is easy to follow for all but a few very small sections. I would go this way again because it avoids the rock scramble at the top of the Blueberry Ledge Trail. The five of us broke trail the whole way, and still beat a very large group to the summit of Whiteface that was departing the Ferncroft parking as we were spotting a car there and heading for Whiteface Intervale parking. |
