 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Drove past house to trailhead - it's dry but deeply rutted, so higher clearance vehicle helpful. No one else was parked there today. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Water at crossings was low, no issues stepping over streams |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Really well maintained, clear trail. One pretty large blowdown, easy to get around. Not a ton of blazes going up, saw more on the way down, but trail is very clear and has been well maintained. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
We brought ours! Saw one other dog. Our dog off-leash until we got to last rise to summit. Open ledges, so leashed. |

 | Bugs: |
None! Yay! |

 | Comments: |
Great hike, steady uphill, gorgeous view of Moosilauke from top. Trail had a couple of patches of snow still on the upper reaches, in shaded spots, but easily avoided. Barebooted whole way with no problem. Mud not a problem and actually surprisingly dry most of the way. Great, great hike. |
