Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked at the same spot as yesterday, at the last telephone pole on Brown Road. There is a ROAD CLOSED - MUD SEASON sign and an area for two vehicles. I made sure to park facing the opposite direction so people didn't think I was dead out there.

Comments
Comments: Another fine day was had in the North Country. This one was pretty straight forward. I followed logging roads, bearing right at the first decision point, which took me down and over a bridge, then into a neighborhood - then past a gate. I had zero issues all day. Others describe "thick" things, maybe I am desensitized to bushwhacking from this list, because I found this to be absolutely a dream of whack. I took took the first left after the gate and then climbed a wide logging road. It makes another sharp left turn at 2200, which had some pretty inviting mature hardwood visible, but I knew their was a drainage/seam. I continued to the height of land on the road, then decided to just launch from there - knowing north facing slopes would still have good snow. There is a wide cut which has a juvenile growth nut-slapping height hardwood stand in this area. This persisted for maybe 1/4 mile at most. After this, it was an absolute wide open dream trip. I found yet another top pocket find piece of treasure resting right next to a tree with a large amount of rubbing on it. The snowshoes where crucial today, still about 3' of old snow judging by tree wells and swamp donkey post holes. Snow is dreamy sidewalk above 2700 or so still. 8.85miles (no idea how people are saying this is 4.5?) in 3h45. #94/100 NH100!
