| Comments: |
The Ethan Pond trail had three to six inches of fresh powder. By the time we returned on this section it was well packed down.
The Willey Range trail had not been broken out at all. I broke out 12 to 18 inches of powdered snow. It was a light snow and not too difficult until we reached the steeps. Traction was difficult on the steeps and because of our slow pace Lauky got cold and started shivering so we turned around. Met a couple on our way down who were experience hikers. I have no doubt they have packed out the trail all the way to the top. I actually briefly toyed with the idea of joining them but decided with Lauky already cold it would be better to come back another time. |
