Comments
Comments: Was fist on trail today so I wore snowshoes the whole hike to re-brake trail after snowfall and wind drifted snow from overnight. The two guys next on the trail also had snowshoes so the trail was packed out pretty good. The other 10 or so hikers I came across had on microspikes, most were doing fine, a few others were stuggling on the steep parts. I did not go up chimney, bypass was in good shape.

Snowshoes worked out great but microspikes seemed to work for the others. With the high winds filling in the broken trails and creating drifts it's a good idea to bring the snowshoes along.
