Comments
Comments: The trail had been broken out to a bit beyond the Tom Wiggin junction. I continued to the stream crossing. The snow was soft, wet, heavy and even where broken out not consolidated. When breaking trail myself my snowshoes sank over a foot into the snow. A light drizzle had started and I decided not to cross the stream. On the way out I tried to smooth out the trail. A good sized group will help to break out the rest of the way to the summit.
