Comments
Comments: There were 4 in our group. We got a later start. We broke trail until about a quarter mile of the summit. With drifts 2 to 3 ft high, getting heavier as we ascended, it was very slow going. A young couple caught up to us about 2.5 miles in and we invited them to join our trail breaking party. They turned around at some point after another mile. Not wanting to miss an already late dinner we decided we had done enough for the day and turned around. Shortly after we started down we ran into a solo hiker who seemed a bit surprised that he would have to break trail at 4pm. We flew down the mountain and back to the cars by the beautiful trough we had created. Good company. Good character building.
