AKA Collette's Mountain.
I spotted this one on the town of Hampstead's website (the hill sits on the Derry/Hampstead town line but the summit is in Derry) and decided to check it out. Trails (mostly old roads) were a mix of wet leaves and minimal snow. Some minor mud and puddles.
This was an ok hike but I wouldn't go out of your way for it. The true summit is wooded and the one outlook was strewn with beer cans. :( Blue Trail, however, begins at the base of a neat cliff where large talus blocks have fallen. That's the most interesting part of this hike. |
