It was probably a mistake to try the Mahoosuc Trail today. There were at least 16 inches of fresh powder on the ground. I broke trail for about a mile (to just past the canal bridge) before I gave up. I didn't even make it to the official start of the Mahoosuc trail on Hogan Road. It just wasn't in the cards today.
The Centennial Trail is usually a busier route to Mt. Hayes. Maybe that is broken out by now? |
