Comments
Comments: Trail was in great shape to the Mt. Crawford summit. It was a windy morning and we ran into snow drifts in spots, and in other spots ‘new’ snow had been blown off the trail, revealing the hard park from previous hikers. This is a steep trail and most of it had new’ish snow on it, which made it a bit slower than usual. Even so, the snow was dry and fluffy and Hillsounds were all that was needed all day. Great views from the upper ledges and summit. Excellent signage just beyond the suspension bridge on the re-route. The trail was easy to follow.
