Comments
Comments: Similar conditions to early reports - snow down to the parking lot with lower stuff slushy and upper stuff consolidating powder on a sidewalk. Smooth fast trip but viz was a little bad on the ridge but cairn hopping was still doable. Looked like it was thinning out as I was coming down and others were coming up. Wore snowshoes the entire time including on the ridge - there was a enough drifting from last snowfall to make them useful. Headed north on the ridge probably would be spikes or crampons. Friends don't let friends posthole - wear your shoes! . Final W48 for the season.
