Parking/Access Road Notes: I paid to park at Highland Center. There were spots near the RR tracks

Surface Conditions: Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Postholes 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All bridged or easy except main crossing of Crawford Brook. The water is shallow enough you'll hardly wet your boots, especially if you wear snowshoes  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 4 blowdowns on A-Z near spur. None very difficult. Two have a bypass path

Dog-Related Notes: Saw none, but should be doable

Comments: Snowshoes were very helpful to stay out of postholes. But none of the 7 folks I met had them, and they didn't seem to be having any trouble in microspikes.
Avalon near the crossing is pretty neat up, tho
