Ice bridges are gone. Lower crossings on Basin Cascade and Cascade Brook Trails were treacherous. Upper crossing at the intersection with Kinsman Pond Trail was not possible - turned back there. Crossing from Cascade Brook to Pemi Trail was very difficult and required a trek up stream to find even that.  |

Hillsound trail crampons were perfect but spikes will be ok while it stays warm. Used snowshoes on the less used Cascade Brook Trail. Be careful.   |
