| Comments: |
Snowstorms Thursday/Friday may make this report less useful - but here it is.
All trails are well packed - the section between Little Haystack and Liberty Spring Tr. less so.
The group (Gordon, Georg, Cinnilla&Per) used microspikes and hillsounds for most of the hike.
The lower section of the Liberty Spring Tr. has hard crust and ice sections. With traction it is easy enough - without some caution is required.
Favorable weather conditions - with light winds - made for a spectacular hike across the Franconia Ridge. |
