Comments
Comments: Wet fog down to trailhead which never left us all day. We did see some temporary brightening, but no blue sky. A couple people told us they had a brief window above clouds on Adams summit with a rainbow, but not for us. Socked in at Madison Spring hut, so we elected to skip summits for another day, and get down before dark.
A delayed return to this area on a disappointing weather day; peaks will still be there for next time.
Trails were mostly mashed potatoes-best done with snowshoes up to treeline; light traction best above treeline on Air Line for ice between boulders. Lousy footing much of the way due to post holes and soft snow.
