Terrific day - thank you HikerEd for the invite!!!! I didn't use any traction/snowshoes for the ascent but most wore traction for ascent & descent. Trail is a frozen trench with decent grip from a little coating of fresh snow. I definitely needed micros for the descent but crampons would not have a bad choice either. Great views but we didn't stay long - very cold and blustery. Great to reconnect with old and new friends!!!! Super fun tailgating, too!!! |
