Comments
Comments: Between the top of the ski area and the viewing platform is basically all ice, since skiers and riders are unlikely to have traction with them so they just slide down. With no recent snowfall, the trails are pretty well packed out and solid. If it's cold, I think spikes would be sufficient, but I'm sure with warmer weather on the horizon there'll be postholing without snowshoes. Drifts were minimal, normally 2-4" deep. Overall conditions are good right now, makes for a quick trip.
